Use LTS version of Node.js

Update the application and readme to use the latest long-term support version of Node. Currently, that looks like 20.17.0. See https://nodejs.org/en/download/package-manager for install instructions.

Project has been developed with node v20.17.0 so it shouldn't be a problem to build it with the same for release.
