GUI handling of large datasets

When manipulating a ~60,000 row dataset in the GUI, the 'remove rows' feature causes it to hang.

Back-end or GUI? GUI. This issue is verified not to occur in the back-end.

Impact I expect that this will pose challenges for satellite remote sensing users who tend to use much larger data cubes than point spectra users.
