Verify new public EdgeCWB server is working - need Dave Ketchum
Current issues with the new public EdgeCWB server to track:
- scwbpb is not getting data from mage2's RAM buffer (so, no realtime low-data-rate)
- When in-office (GHSC), we cannot telnet scwbpb port# for any of ports 2060, 2061, or 22061 (obviously, we cannot transfer data from these ports either)
- GlobalProtect prevents data transfers from cwbpb and scwbpb, but not from cwbp2
- it is possible to telnet server port#, but no data is transferred via clients
- we understand that GP is a pain and don't really expect this to get fixed, but mention it just for the record
- scwbpb has some large holes/gaps in some channels:
- for example, compare:
$ query -h 137.227.252.145 -p 22061 -list -s 'NTFRN..SSFR0' -b "2024/08/01-00:00:00" -d 180d
$ query -h 137.227.224.97 -p 22061 -list -s 'NTFRN..SSFR0' -b "2024/08/01-00:00:00" -d 180d
$ query -h 137.227.230.97 -p 22061 -list -s 'NTFRN..SSFR0' -b "2024/08/01-00:00:00" -d 180d
- If copying repackaged blocks on mage2 to 2#5 will trigger synchronization with all public CWBs, then this really isn't a big deal, but I mention it for the record
