When using LSTrajectory.plot_trajectory(..., dem='/path/to/dem.tif', ...)
I get:
AttributeError: module 'xarray' has no attribute 'open_rasterio'
The solution is to use rioxarray
, which will require a new dependency. Also this would be a good time to relax the UTM projection constraint since we can re-project basically any DEM using rioxarray
Some ideas:
Bug: We need to modify this so that the colorbar ticks always start at t = 0 and so the colorbar label time is correct. Basically, just carefully review how the plot is made for different combinations of the start
and duration
parameters!
Enhancement: Do we really need detrend_velocity
to take a numerical value, or can it just be a boolean that detrends velocity to zero at duration
seconds if duration
is set?
Ping @ecollins.

Self-explanatory. Build the docs as a CI step and use GitLab's Pages functionality to serve them. This is basically what Read the Docs was doing for us back in the day.
If we mirror lsforce on GitHub we are likely to get more visibility and then non-USGS folks can make issues, etc.
This is a good thing. We need to understand how involved it is to mirror on https://github.com/DOI-USGS...

Small changes to README to ensure that it's clear we have a mirror and to link to both repos

@kallstadt and @ecollins — you'll probably want to "watch" the GitHub mirror. Then if an external user makes an issue, you'll get a notification.
