User story:

As a watershed manager, I need to view stream flow data for my watershed and not just a single site or state, so that I can see the connections between waterbodies.

Task:

1- To assign real-time surface water sites to hydrologic units codes at various HUC scales from HUC2 to HUC8. 2- Enable plotting of HUC polygons on a map. The data should be in a format that is directly usable for calculations.

Possible extensions based on scope and user needs:

• Ensure formatting of data for direct use in plotting
• Test whether site per HUC basins are more complete when querying streamflow from NWIS vs. WQP.
