whatNWISsites question

I've tried this: sites<-whatNWISsites(drainAreaMax=250)

and I get an error. What I really want is as list of IDs with a drainage are of <=250 mi^2 -AND- a record length of >=30 years. How do I do this with whatNWISsites? The USGS HCDN sites give me too small of a sample size for my purposes.
