Refresh when in CYOA acts weird

If you're in one of the Choose-your-own-adventure pages, and hit refresh, it goes to a page that looks like this and gets stuck. Previous button doesn't work, the only thing you can do is "start over" or skip to the end (references). You can reproduce this by going to the part where you choose warm/cold/hot stream and then advance a slide or two. Hit refresh.
