Merge `develop` into `master` for v1.1 release

@tbarnhart & @arschultz, we've completed our various tweaks to installation documentation etc. for a version 1.1 release, which we think is ready to go. For a list of this related issues we closed, see %Release 1.1: Add TauDEM functionality & installation via Conda

This merge request from the develop branch to master allows for one final review of our latest commits.

Once merged, we can issue an official release via https://code.usgs.gov/StreamStats/data-preparation/cpg/FCPGtools/-/releases/new, which will tag and archive a snapshot of the repo at this point in time for users to easily access.
