Errors in IAGA-2002 format
Alex and I discovered three issues in the IAGA-2002 format we produce:
- In the comments field for minute variations data we state that we are using a filter with a window range of "(00:30-01:30)", but this appears to be incorrect. In /geomagio/algorithm/FilterAlgorithm.py we are specifying a filter with a 91 pt filter width which suggests that the actual window range should be "(00:15-01:45)". This was noticed because Duff's old BIQ->IAGA conversion program produces IAGA files that report the "(00:15-01:45)", and it suggests that PCDCP also used this range.
- According to the IAGA-2002 definition given by NOAA here and in the Intermagnet technical manual, the "Data interval type" field should give the data interval followed by the filter window range (e.g.: "1-minute (00:15-01:45)") but IAGA2002Writer.py only writes the data interval portion (e.g.: "1-minute").
- The current value given for the "Digital Sampling" field is "0.01 second", which was correct for PCDCP, but it should be updated to "0.0001 second" for ObsRIO.
