Update examples in usage.md to use recommended URL template formatting and add Windows command example.

NOTE: Again, Gitlab is not createing merge request as expected, which should be to merge my fork's (origin) development branch into the master branch of the main (upstream) repository. I'll need to figure this out, but in the meantime, I'm syncing up the master branches of both repos with this MR.
