USGS-Models.md 814 B
Newer Older
The USGS has historically updated the earthquake hazard model for the conterminous U.S. every 6 years. In addition, the USGS intermittently creates or updates models for other regions such as Alaska, Hawaii, and other U.S. territories, and periodically produces models for other countries. These models are intended for use with the USGS probabilistic earthquake hazard codebase: [*nshmp-haz*](https://github.com/usgs/nshmp-haz).

Each model region and year has a dedicated repository:
* [Conterminous US (2014)](/usgs/nshm-cous-2014)
* [Conterminous US (2008)](/usgs/nshm-cous-2008)
* [Alaska (2007)](/usgs/nshm-ak-2007)
