Code meets requirements of the ticket. Need to fix tests. Also consider removing selectors that are no longer being used. Further refactoring should wait for another ticket.

Added selector for getTimeSeries. Need to fix tests that are now failing because all time series are processed by the drawing code, not just visible time series.
